Diss tracks, social media call outs… it’s a LOT
If you’ve been on social media over the weekend, then you’ve probably seen that Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion are majorly feuding. We’ve got all the details on what on earth is going on.
Megan, 28, released her new song, ‘Hiss’, on 26th January where she rapped about several unnamed people, with many believing that she was actually calling out Nicki, 41, and her husband. The tea!
This caused Nicki to go off on X (formerly known as Twitter), so, here is the timeline of Nicki and Megan’s feud explained and everything they’ve been saying about each other.

So, on Friday (26th January), Megan dropped her new track, ‘Hiss’, which included the lyric: “These h**s don’t be mad at Megan, these h**s mad at Megan’s Law. I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”
Megan’s Law refers to a US law that requires all states to have sex offender registries which are available to the public. Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, is a registered sex offender after previously pleading guilty to attempted rape and serving four years in prison.
Recently, he was also sentenced to a year of house arrest after failing to register as a sex offender in a new state. After Megan released the song, fans speculated that the lyric was about Kenneth, which caused Nicki to retaliate with a track of her own.
Her track, titled ‘Big Foot’, features the lyrics: “Bad b*tch she like six foot, I call her big foot. The b*tch fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” which fans believe is in reference to Megan being shot.
In 2022, rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan in the foot in 2020.
Then, Nicki also took to X to post and retweet tonnes of shady stuff about Megan, such as calling her “disgusting” and mentioning Megan’s late mother, who passed away in 2019. Megan hasn’t responded, yet.
It’s a lot!
