“Don’t f**k up Toph”: Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender Update Has Fans Dead Scared

Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the most beloved and respected animated series in the entire genre. Having some of the most complex and fleshed-out characters, it is no surprise that there have been several attempts to get the true essence of the 2005 series right. While the Netflix adaptation raised the hopes of the fans quite a lot, as soon as the live-action adaptation was released, disappointment was all they felt.

Audiences were deeply disappointed at what the series brought, having several critics about everything, including cast, acting, storytelling, character representation, and even themes. Considering how hate for the adaption spread like wildfire on the internet, a recent update on the series has fans more than a little worried.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Gets An Unexpected Update

Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Netflix adaptation was ripped to shreds by all corners of the internet. From fans, laymen, and even critics, it would seem that there was only a slim percentage of the audience that actually enjoyed this adaption. It is because of these has revealed that a recent update about the series has shocked the entire world.

It was recently reported officially by the series’s Instagram account that the series has been renewed for a second and third series. The news has come as a shock to everyone. However, the decision to take such an approach, even though the first season had such bad reviews, makes sense.

The animated series had three seasons of perfect storytelling. Although the first season of the Netflix series was not loved, it would seem that the streaming service still wants to give itself another chance to perfect the story. Take two more attempts and make the show great, seems to be the message from the streaming giants!

Fans Are Worried

While Netflix’s attempt to make things right can be respected, fans cannot help but have reservations when the news is announced. Many are simply confused by the decision to renew it for not one but two more seasons.

Many shows with much better reviews are canceled for much smaller things, whereas a series that has gotten so much hate, has gotten an opportunity to basically tell its entire story.

They even added that fans simply did not ask for the series to get renewed. It is still not sure if the surprise is a welcoming one or not.
