Doctor Who has revealed that another Bridgerton cast member will be joining its ensemble, and this isn’t her first time aboard the TARDIS.

Doctor Who is one of the most treasured franchises of all time, dating all the way back to 1963. The adventures of a time lord known only as The Doctor and his numerous companions against enemies like Daleks, Cyber Men, and The Master have enthralled audiences in radio, comic books, and television.
The British franchise has served as a way for actors to either get a kickstart on their career or bring it to new heights, starring the likes of Christopher Eccleston (The Ninth Doctor), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), David Tennant (The Tenth Doctor/The Fourteenth Doctor), Catherine Tate (Donna Noble), Matt Smith (The Eleventh Doctor), Karen Gillan (Amy Pond), Peter Capaldi (The Twelfth Doctor), and Jodie Whitaker (The Thirteenth Doctor).
Doctor Who fans, also known as Whovians, are ecstatic about the upcoming series coming to Disney+. This is partially because of the incredible cast, which includes Ncuti Gatwa as The Fifteenth Doctor, Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, and Jinkx Monsoon as a mysterious villain. And now, it looks like they’ll be adding a star of the hit series Bridgerton to the mix.
Another ‘Bridgerton’ Star Joins New Series of ‘Doctor Who’

According to an announcement from the BBC, Golda Rosheuvel, who is most well-known for her role as Queen Charlotte in the Bridgerton franchise, will join the cast as Joanne. This will be her second time aboard the TARDIS since she played Dr. Angela Connolly in the spinoff series Torchwood.
Whovians and Bridgerton fans are beyond excited for the news, including showrunner David T. Russell:
“It’s been amazing to see the whole world appreciate Golda’s talents because of Bridgerton, and it’s been an absolute joy to invite her to Cardiff to help launch Ncuti and Millie’s first season.”

While they won’t be in the same episode, Rosheuvel will be joining fellow Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) this season. On top of this, many Bridgerton cast members have found themselves in Doctor Who, including Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), and Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton).
Other actors who will be joining the new series include Callie Cooke, Dame Siân Phillips, Alexander Devrient, Bhav Joshi, Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy, Tachia Newall, Caoilinn Springall, Michelle Greenidge, Angela Wynter, Anita Dobson, Aneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan Groff, Gwïon Morris Jones, Bonnie Langford, Genesis Lynea, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush, and Indira Varma.
