Bridgerton season 3 is getting closer and it shows! Netflix released two new images and a new clip a little different from what we are used to. This time, a new suitor comes into play. Ready?
Here we go!Penelope Featherington is beautiful and Colin isn’t the only one to notice it this season. Lord Debling is going to compete for Penelope’s attention.

As we see in the clip, Penelope and Debling meet. She seems shy but also hopeful. Debling may be the way out she’s been looking for. He may be the answer to getting away from her mother and her family, while still having the freedom and independence necessary to continue writing as Lady Whistledown.
At the end of the clip his look is one of satisfaction, even defiance. And that fierceness suits Penelope very well! For his part, Debling is polite, showing clear interest in Penelope but nevertheless keeping his distance from her.
In fact, the distance we see in the clip between the two contrasts with the closeness we see in those with Polin as the protagonists. Debling will never be more than a suitor but Penelope’s heart is not with him, but with Colin.

As for the photos, in the first one Penelope seems scared and Debling is with his mouth open in an expression between surprise and not being able to believe what is happening. Which intrigues us a lot. But, of course, the most striking thing about this photo is where Debling has his hand.
The only hands we accept around Penelope’s waist are Colin Bridgerton’s. Period. However, from the expressions of the two, we are sure that there is a good reason for his hand to be there.
Speaking of the second photo, Debling is signing Penelope’s dance card… in front of her entire family. Portia seems quiet for once in her life but Penelope is looking at her with a smug expression that she has earned. Portia always looked down on her and never believed that anyone could notice her… and now someone is doing it… right before her eyes. And we love it!
